On May 5, 2025, the AMA team held a strategic meeting with the Board of Directors and Senior Management of the Community and Enterprise Development Organization (CAEDO), an Afghan NGO established in 2023 under Afghanistan’s “Non-Governmental Organizations Law”. CAEDO is led by seasoned development professionals with extensive experience in community development and financial services, both within Afghanistan and internationally.
Representing CAEDO at the meeting were Mr. Stephen Rasmussen, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Henry K. Bagazonzya, Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Hammad Asifi, Chief Executive Officer; and Mr. Faridoon Fedayee, Head of Finance.
The discussion was productive and centered on strengthening bilateral business relations and exploring opportunities to enhance the Microfinance Program in Afghanistan. Both parties emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to improve financial inclusion and community development across the country.
Additionally, the AMA team expressed interest in fostering long term cooperation with CAEDO to build strong, strategic relationships aimed at advancing shared development goals.
