The Afghanistan Microfinance Association (AMA) organized the 3rd Microfinance Sector CEOs Coordination Meeting on May 7, 2025. The primary agenda was to discuss current AMA affairs and explore ways to strengthen the association. Participants shared their visions for AMA and contributed valuable ideas to enhance its role and effectiveness.
A strong and united association of Microfinance Institutions will not only improve coordination with government departments across the country and within the sector, but also help build a robust network among all stakeholders.
AMA has demonstrated its strong commitment to complying with national regulations while actively promoting Islamic financing products through increased program awareness, improved coordination, and strengthened networking efforts. These initiatives are crucial for advancing financial inclusion, particularly by empowering underserved communities that traditionally lack access to financial services. A well implemented program plays a pivotal role in poverty reduction by offering essential financial services to low income individuals and communities.
