The Afghanistan Microfinance Association (AMA) is pleased to announce the signing of a grant agreement with the Microfinance Investment and Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA) on August 07, 2025. This partnership aims to strengthen and advance AMA’s program. The agreement was signed during a formal ceremony attended by senior management of both institutions including MISFA’s Chief Executive Officer, a Board Member, and AMA’s Executive Director and Program Coordinator.
As an apex organization playing a vital role in the microfinance sector, MISFA has supported AMA’s programs since the beginning of this year. This partnership strengthens AMA’s ability to serve its member institutions and contribute to the development of microfinance in the country. AMA focuses on key areas such as Lobbying and Advocacy, Coordination and Networking, Knowledge Management, and Capacity Building.
MISFA’s generous support enables AMA to deliver high quality services to its members and assist microfinance institutions in expanding access to financial services nationwide.
